"I completed the two week tiling course in May 2026. Kev has a relaxed instructional technique which instantly puts you at ease. We were all shocked at how much we learnt and the quality of our work after the two weeks. I’m more than happy to tackle tiling jobs with confidence now. I also came away with kit to enable me to complete jobs. New Beginings are also there to support through your tiling career. The course was thoroughly enjoyable, if you’re looking for a tiling course I highly recommend New Beginings."

"I joined the tiling bootcamp at New Beginnings as a complete beginner and, over two weeks, gained real confidence through hands-on, practical learning. The tutor was incredibly generous with his knowledge and created a supportive, realistic training environment. 🧚🏼‍♀️ What really stood out was the respect and care I was shown as a woman. The tutor always checked in before entering my space or offering hands-on demonstrations, ensuring I felt comfortable at all times. He was genuinely encouraging of women entering the trades, which left me feeling confident and excited about moving into a new career 👷🏼‍♀️⭐️"

"I recently completed the 10 day tiling course with New Beginnings Tiling Academy, and it was a brilliant experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get into tiling professionally or even to up skill their DIY abilities. The course was challenging at times, but in the best possible way. It really pushed me to learn new techniques and build confidence, the support throughout made a huge difference. A big thank you to Kev and his team for their guidance throughout the course and for sharing so much of their knowledge and experience. It’s been a great learning journey and one I’m really glad I took."

"I've just had the privilege of attending the first all-female tiling bootcamp at New Beginnings Tiling Academy. This 3 week intensive course has been both brilliant and life changing and I would highly recommend doing it. As a diverse group of women, we were treated with the utmost respect and professionalism by all the staff which fostered a safe and supportive learning environment where creativity could flow. I not only learned the practical and technical tiling skills needed to tile kitchens and bathrooms but also gained the confidence to know ' I can do this' which is truly empowering. This is testament to tutor Kev Hartley who has a wealth of knowledge and experience across all facets of the tiling industry. Coupled with his natural talent as a teacher and communicator, this has been one of the best courses I've been on in my career - thank you Kev!! (Kev also has the patience of a saint given the million questions I asked him 😂 ). This experience has left a lasting legacy in that it has created a connected community of women who genuinely want the best for each other and are incredibly supportive ❤️. My understanding is that this Academy undertakes work with people who maybe haven't had the best start in life and equips them with the skills needed to improve their lives going forward. Personally, I think this community ethos is amazing and long may it continue!"
